Presentation the Letters of Credence

On September 30, 2022, the Ambassador of Georgia to Turkmenistan Mr. Konstantine Sabiashvili presented the letters of credence copies  to the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan congratulated the Ambassador of Georgia on his appointment, wished him success in his future work, and assured the full support in performing his duties.

During the meeting, key topics of bilateral relations were discussed. Special attention was given to the importance of high level delegations exchange and continuation of political dialogue between the governments of Georgia and Turkmenistan. Development of joint projects in energy and transport sectors, importance of bilateral trade and cargo transit increase and strengthening of cultural and humanitarian affairs were particularly highlighted. At the same time, exchange of views on the regional affairs was important part of the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, Georgian ambassador noted that the Georgian embassy in Turkmenistan and the Ambassador personally would do everything to raise the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries to an even higher level.
