Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia Konstantine Sabiashvili met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova
On January 29, 2026, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, Konstantine Sabiashvili and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Myahri Byashimova.
During the meeting, the high level of relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan was noted. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the fields of trade and economy, parliamentary relations, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the importance of strengthening connectivity and cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue actively developing bilateral relations in the future.
