On 3 July, 2026, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan, Konstantine Sabiashvili, held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Guvanch Agajanov.

During the meeting, the parties positively assessed the existing friendly and partnership relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan and emphasized the particular importance of high-level and highest-level visits. 

The parties also discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including cooperation in the field of fuel and energy, the development of the Middle Corridor and the opportunities for its effective utilization. The Ambassador of Georgia once again reaffirmed the readiness of the Georgian side to facilitate the export of Turkmen energy resources to Western markets through the territory of Georgia.
