Ambassador of Georgia Konstantine Sabiashvili Meets Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Nazar Agakhanov

On 20 November 2025, the Ambassador of Georgia to Turkmenistan, Konstantine Sabiashvili, met with the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, Nazar Agakhanov.

 

The meeting focused on ways to deepen economic cooperation between Georgia and Turkmenistan. The parties highlighted trade and investment opportunities, as well as prospects for launching new joint projects. Special emphasis was placed on the role of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation as a platform that promotes dialogue and practical cooperation between the two countries.

 

The high level of political relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan was also noted, as well as the importance of a sustained constructive partnership between the two states.
