The Ambassador of Georgia met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan

On March 16, 2023, the meeting of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia, Konstantine Sabiashvili, with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mahri Bashimova, was held.                                                                                 

During the meeting, topical issues on the bilateral agenda and prospects for the further development of Turkmen-Georgian relations were discussed.

The conversation touched on discussion of issues related to high-level visits and preparations for the next session of the Georgia-Turkmen Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation.

The importance of joint efforts between the two countries in the implementation of joint projects in the fields of transport, communication and energy was emphasized.

A positive assessment was given to the visit of the delegation of the "Resorts Development Agency" of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia to Turkmenistan in February-March of this year.
